Urbana cultura

This Friday I went to the cultura urbana concert (http://www.culturaurbana.es), Where Redman Nas Beenieman Booba amoungst others were there.

As you all kno I had my phone stolen so pics and vids were impossible, Thats why Youtube is one of the greatest sights on the net cos someone did my job for me, and i didnt even have to pay them, or refuse a reach around.

It was a 2 day event, but we only went to 1 day. On this day was Redman, Beenie man, and the international breakdancing competion. That was beyond AMAZING!!!! Break dancers from all across the globe came to Madrid for the chance of winning 3 grand in euroes. Every team did theyre thing, some better than others but they lapped up their chance to dis the other team by grabbing theyre own balls, flippin the bird, one even went as far as to jump into the battle...stop pull out a gun..hand it back to his team.....then got back to dancing as if to say "we all pack nines but we come here to dance"!!!! I laughed till i nearly choked!! The next battle saw a fight break out and someone had to jump in between the 2 teams doin a 30 second windmill to keep them apart. The best was yet to come though, as Madrids own team entered the battle, everyone was looking at each other in shock as at least 4 members were overweight (grossly) or beyond old. They got down to it and when the first fat dude jumped on as expected he was junk, other members were alot better , and there was some fierce rivalry between the 2 members so they were dissing each other pretty hard, but then a 55 year came from the Madrid team, the crowd cheered feeling sorry for him, the rival dancers laughed and flipped birds when he started

.....but then....it happened.....

the guy preformed a windmill, everyone cheered just that he could do it, then with no hands, the crowed got heated, then using both hands grabbing his balls and laughing, the whole crowed stood up in awww cheering and laughing while this 55 year old guy was doing a windmill grabbing his balls with both hands basically saying "deez nuts in ya mouth" 360 degrees to everyone!!

The rival team couldnt believe it and were destroyed!!
Im still laughing now as it was one of the greatest moments in dance ive seen!

The sun was a good 26 degrees, everyone was mashed, and they mood was amazing.

Watch the redman concert and the video just doesnt do him justice as the energy was sick.

Yes thats right fans , 2 weeks after canada real, I went to Valencia (the nearest beach to Madrid....2 hours away), and my phone...got....jacked!!!! Even before I got to the Hostaaaaall its gonnnnnneeee. I felt levels of violence never before reached, but decided to put down on lock and take it out the alcohol that night. Looking at the good side my bro will shortly be chucking me his camera fone with a better camera on it so you know....silver lining and all that. Valencia was the shit, i mean it, it was the absolutely shit!! JUst walking round you feel happy, but thats obviously cos its a beach town. That was in the day, in the night, compared to Madrid its nothing, but it has got night clubs with sharks swimming round, a beach (i feel Madrid is robbed so had to mention that again), an elegant style to it, and.....the greatest building of all time which is currently my screen saver, the aquarium-science-museum-opera house!!!! check the pics (obviously not mine)

Oh and update on me, my teaching job ends june 22, so im scrambling to find an engineering job quick, or its surviving as a freelance teacher till i get dimes to either come back to Bristol, or go Miami, or a new adventure in Berlin. Send in your votes in what you think i should do? I love this place more than anywhere so it will be hard if i have to leave.

Mommas gonna take me to the zooooo tomorrow...

These are pics from Canada real (pronounced canyada Ree-al) went there with the school this thursday gone. Not a big fan of zoo's, but i am of animals, so im hypocritical but i need to see them. Took a long coach journey there full of kids, so obviously you know something bads gonna happen........and it did!!
LOL so funny!! Im sitting on the coach and a kid behind me says in spanish "teacher somethings happened!" i look at him wondering what he's talking about, i see his bottom lip glazed, then i smell the stomach acid, look down and all i see is his breakfast all over the chair. The smell was pungent to say the least, and at 23 degrees your thanking God for air conditioning. A i said to one of the other kids "look look" without pointing, and she start saying while looking around "what? at what?, at wha...."
this is the exact momment she clocked the puke, and she snapped her head away in discust. I started laughing and laughing but then she coughed and heaved, she tried to talk but heaved again. Teachers flooded the back of the bus, taking care of more kids having domino effects of the first kid. I couldnt stop laughing all day!!

The rst of the day was just looking at animals like, wolfs, lynx, Genet, wild board, hawks, donkeys, etc etc, and just enjoying the sun. Check the pics.


P.s this is a new class, of 6 year olds, very cheeky but want to learn more than any other class, only been with them a week but they grown on me quick, plus one of them gave picture of a liverpool game he drew, and another gave me a toy gem, dont know why they did but it kinda spurs u on.

Back to Btown

As alot of you know, i came back for a bit, nothing special just worked my ass into the ground to finally be free of every debt I have, so i can plan the (clear my throat!!) Kenya, Japan, Miami, Himalayas, Brazil, and Goa trip im thinking of. Yup punching well above my belt but i need knowledge!! Madrid will always be my base, and i will come back to Bristol but only for visits. Enjoy da fotos....P.S i haven't forgotten the orange lot, Sonia, Tom, Marcus, mouse, Chris, Ren, Raj, Vespa, Simon's....When im back next time you get vip treatment...you know what? your fotos are going on here too, just to honor you bloodseeds!!! Hey ya'll sorry for the complete laziness and i cant really recover 3 months of information so im just gonna chuck up bullet points and nuff pictures and hopefully you can can work it out.

- January: went o Barcelona for a weekend (lost pictures :( = sick!! need to go again and rivals (but not beats) Madrid.
- January: Mate Lucy, her sister, and her friend came up = wicked but almost too wild weekend. Alcohol, and clubs were abused.

-February: Mates Will, Paul, and Ricky came over = More anarchy, out every night to most of the super clubs, did serious damage by rolling out at 9 and coming home at 6. Quality weekend, culture and clubbing, chased with a machete (write in for the story if you want it), discovered alot of new places to feed, but all resulted in my landlord going nuts.
-February: Mates Carla, and Aff came over = Another amazing weekend, alot more quieter than the other weekends due to illness, but still at least one 8pm - 6am job. Snuck them in to mine for 2 nights as the landlord now lets no one stay over. This was one of my favourite weekends.

-March: Mates Delroy, Roy and there mates rolled over = They didnt stay at mine as there 6 of them, and only chilled with them for one night but it was at some super posh club in Goya where Beckham apparently goes, which has 6 foot girls and 14 euro drinks.....nice!!
-March: Move into my new house.

Differences:
old house = 45 minutes metro ride from sol.
new house = 7 minutes
old house = 55 minutes to work
new house = 26
old house = 6 minute walk to metro
new house = 20 steps
old house = swimming pool
new house = no swimming pool :( tear!
old house = nothing apart from a zoo
new house = seconds from Goya the richest part of Madrid, 1 minute wal from Retiro which is the largest park.
old house = rent, and bills in the end totaled to 350 a month
new house = 170 ALL INCLUDED EVEN THE INTERNET!!!

-March: mates Conrad and Jaff come over = Carnage from day 1. Created a new drink called effortless which is Trinidad rum, o2 energy drink, and sangria. Went out every night blah blah blah was all fun then it hit me.....I come here with a mission on my mind and all im doing is getting destroyed, and clubbing, etc etc and i still haven't seen all of Madrid. So...... from now on 1 group of mates every 2 months instead of 2 every 1.

Missions: To create multiple hiphop tracks on cubase, to see all of Madrid, to speak fluent Spanish, and to save a bit of loot.
